To use SMS as the preferred MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) option go through the following steps:
Step 1: Open your browser and access the vigie.cloud website.
Step 2: Introduce your e-mail address.
Step 3: Click on Next.
Step 4: Introduce your password.
Step 5: Click on Login.
Step 6: Select SMS as your preferred authentication method.
Note: If the SMS option is not available, it may be due to one of the following reasons: 1. Your organization’s administrator has not enabled it, and you will not be able to use SMS as an authentication method. 2. You do not have a phone number linked to your ViGIE account. To learn how to add one, click here. 3. Your organization’s communication credits runned out. In this case, you will be automatically redirected to the email option: How to use MFA (email).
Step 7: A modal will appear informing you that each verification SMS will consume your organization’s communication credits. To learn more about how communication credits are spent, click here. If you still wish to continue, click Continue with SMS.
Step 8: The verification code will be sent through an SMS to your phone number.
Step 9: Enter the code in step 2.
Step 10: Click on Authenticate.
Note: For future logins, step 6 and 7 will not be required. If you wish to change your authentication method, please refer to the article How to change my MFA.
