How to activate my account

When your VIGIE account is created, you will receive an email with a temporary password, as shown in the example below:



Note: For security reasons, the temporary password only lasts 48 hours, so you will need to activate your account during this time. 
If you received the activation email more than 48 hours ago, please see the article How to recover my password? and follow the steps described therein.


To activate your account on the new ViGIE 3, go through the following steps:


Step 1: Open your browser and access vigie.cloud website.


Step 2: Introduce the e-mail address associated to your ViGIE account.


Step 3: Click on Next.


Step 4: Enter the temporary password provided in the account activation email

 

Step 5: Click on Login.


Step 6: Accept the terms of the End User License Agreement (EULA) by checking the box that says “You have read and agree to the ViGIE Solutions Terms of Use and Privacy Policy”.


Step 7: When you select the box in the previous step, the Save button appears. Click on Save.


Step 8: On the next page, enter your new password according to the requirements.

 

Note: the new password must meet the requirements set out on the platform, wich are to be at least:
    - 8 characters long
    - 1 uppercase letter
    - 1 lowercase letter
    - 1 number
    - 1 symbol, except: ' , \ and ".

 

Step 9: Repeat the new password and click Save password.


At this stage, if your user has associated a cell phone number, you will be asked to validate that number. To do this, follow these steps:


Note: It is mandatory to complete the phone number validation process in order to ensure that alerts can be sent via SMS and phone call.

   

Step 10: Your country code and mobile number will be pre-filled. If you want to change your mobile number, you can do so in this step. Click on Send Code.  

 

Note: If you don't want to use the phone's features, select that option according to the figure, and click Proceed.

   

Step 11: You will receive a message, similar to the one below, with a validation code. Enter this code on the platform.


 

Step 12: After entering the 6 digits of your validation code, the Validate Code button will be unlocked. Click on Validate Code.

 

You will be redirected to the ViGIE platform dashboard, completing the account validation process.
