To create a new component or consumable, go through the following steps:
Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Maintenance.
Step 2: Choose the Stock option.
Step 3: Select a previously created warehouse.
If you don't already have a warehouse in your organisation, find out how to create one, here.
Step 4: Click on + New Item.
Step 5: Select the type of the new item to create: Component or Consumable.
Step 6: Fill in the general information about the component / consumable.
The field Designation is mandatory. The others are optional.
Step 7: Select the warehouse(s) where the component or consumable is located. You will have to enter the respective stock for each of the warehouses. You can add minimum stock alerts if you want to.
Step 8: Add attachments to the component/consumable by clicking on Add attachment. (optional)
Step 9: Click Save.
