To create a new location, go through the following steps:

Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Settings.

Step 2: Choose the Structure Setup option.

Step 3: Click on + New Item.

Step 4: In the Item Type, choose what you want to create: Location, Maintenance Device, Monitoring Device or to Import an Equipment List. Select Location.

Step 5: Write the new Location's name and Tag. NOTE: You can create more than one location at a time. To do this, fill in the name and tag of all the locations you want to create.

The location name is limited to 128 characters and the tag to 24 characters, including letters, numbers and symbols. It is suggested that the label be an abbreviation of the location name if it exceeds the character limit. The tag name is used to identify the location in SMS alerts and other areas of the platform where there is a need to abbreviate the location name.

Step 6: Select Create. You will return to the structure configuration page where the following message will appear: "New items were added. Please select and move them to the structure."

Step 7: Select the location(s) you created.

Step 8: Click on Move Items.

You can move more than one location simultaneously if the destination location is the same. If it is not, please select only one location at a time.

Step 9: Select the final location of the item(s) you have selected.

To find the destination location, use the arrows to expand the locations in your organisational structure.

Step 10: Click Confirm.

Step 11: Click Ok.

Step 12: If you have created more than one location, repeat steps 7 through 10 until you move all the locations you created into your organisational structure.

Step 13: Click Save changes.

Step 14: Click Proceed.
