ViGIE Predict - Temperature Prediction

What is it?

ViGIE Predict uses machine learning to forecast temperature evolution in equipments monitored by ViGIE sensores, allowing you to anticipate behavior in the coming hours.

This functionality helps predict abnormal occurences and supports decision-making, ensuring greater safety of monitored assets.

How does it work?

The algorithm uses historical data from the last 30 days to generate temperature forecasts.
The forecast period displayed depends on the time interval selected in the graphic:

  • Graphics with less than 24h: forecast for the next 2 hours.
  • Graphics with 24h or more: forecast for the next 4 hours.
  • Graphics  with 7 days or more: forecast for the next 1 day.

How to access this feature?

The ViGIE Predict functionality is only available for sensors that record the temperature parameter.
Access depends on the type of sensor:

Sensores that only register temperature:

Step 1: Access the sensor menu by clicking on the desired sensor.

Step 2: On the analysis page, the forecast for the next 2 hours will appear by default in the graphic.

Example of procedure:

Sensores that register temperatura and other parameters

Step 1:  Access the sensor menu by clicking on the desired sensor.

Step 2: On the analysis page, click on Show predict on graphic

Step 3: The forecast for the next 2 hours will then be displayed in the graphic.

Example of procedure:

Note: If you want to hide the forecast, simply click on Hide predict on graphic.

IMPORTANT: The data presented by ViGIE Predict is inferred from previous measurements and cannot predict atypical occurrences. Therefore, it should be interpreted as a forecast and not as a factual value.
