Configure SenseAnywhere's AccessPoint

Below are the requirements for communicating with SenseAnywhere AccessPoints (Receivers):

The AP will need:

  • 1 Power Socket;
  • 1 Network connection;

The IT requirements are as follows:

  • Acquisition of IP by DHCP (preferred);
  • Communication to the endpoint a.sa1.nl port 80;
  • TCP/IP protocol;
  • Doesn’t allow proxy configuration.

As an alternative to assigning an IP via DHCP, which is preferred, it is possible to assign a static IP:

1: Place the PC's IP in the same range (192.168.0.50); .

2: Connect the RJ45 cable (AP -> PC);

3: Access 192.168.0.50/config.htm;

4: Assign the desired settings:

If you can't access it, you can perform a hard-reset by pressing the button for about 20 seconds and starting the process again. The hard-reset establishes DHCP by default:

It is also possible to reserve IP by MAC Address.

The MAC Address is obtained from the device's Serial Number by adding (00:21) at the beginning and removing the last two digits of the SN.

Example, SN: 5B:01:23:45:67 -> MAC Address: 00:21:5B:01:23:45

These devices do not respond to pings
