To import an equipment list using an excel file, go through the following steps:

Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click Locations and Equipment. 

Step 2: Choose the Equipment option 

Step 3: Select the New Equipment option.

Step 4: In the Item Type, choose Import Equipment List.

Step 5: Click on Upload XLS and select the excel file with the equipment that you want to import.

The green fields (Designation, Brand, Model, Place, Specialization/ Field and type of equipment) are mandatory.

The blue fields ( Acquisition date, Acquisition Cost, Warranty, Serial number, Inventory number, Distributor, Manufacture, QR code, NFC code) are optional.

NOTE: If you do not have information to insert on the mandatory fields, please write N/A (Not Applicable).

Step 6: Place the left side fields on the corresponding right side field.

On the left side there are fields that appear in Excel whose name does not match the name of the fields in the ViGIE portal. In these cases, carry out this process manually dragging the fields on the left to the corresponding fields on the right.

Step 7: Click on Next Step.

Step 8: A preview table of the equipment import will appear with different colors, according to the equipment info. Click on Next Step.

Step 9: An informative board will appear containing the number of new equipment, type of equipment, places, specialization fields, manufactures and distributors that will be created on the VIGIE portal. Click on Import Equipment.
