In the transport module of the ViGIE system, pending journeys can have 4 statuses:

• Planned: Planned journeys are those that are scheduled, but their start date has not yet been reached.

• Ongoing: A journey is in the ongoing status when the journey has started (the start date has passed) but the end date of the journey has not yet been reached or the journey has not yet been put as completed.

• Waiting data: A journey is in the waiting data status when the end date of the journey has already been reached but the data recorded during the journey has not yet been downloaded to the ViGIE system. For the sensor to perform the data download, it needs to be within the reach of a data receiver.

• Lack of data: A journey is in this status when the journey has already ended but only part of the data has been downloaded.
  

Once the end date of the trip is reached and all data is downloaded, it is analysed by the ViGIE system and the journey moves to the Completed status.
