The ViGIE platform allows you to configure the structure of your organisation by changing the location of sensors, equipment and the position of locations. To change the location of a sensor or equipment or the position of a location, go through the following steps:

Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Settings.

Step 2: Choose the Structure Setup option.

Step 3: Select the sensor(s), equipment and/or location(s) you wish to change the location in the structure.
  

You can use the filters available at the top of the page and the search field to find more easily the sensor(s), equipment and/or location(s) you want to change the location.

You can change the location of more than one sensor, equipment or location at the same time as long as the destination location is the same.

When you change the position of a location, all sub-locations, sensors and equipment that are part of this location will also be moved to the new location, keeping the same structure.

Step 4: Click on Move Items.

Step 5: Select the destination location of the item(s) you selected.

To find and select the destination location, use the arrows to expand the locations in your organisational structure.

Step 6: Click Confirm.

Step 7: Click Ok.

Step 8: If you want to make more changes, repeat steps 3 to 7 until you change the position of all the items you want.

Step 9: Click Save Changes.

Step 10: Click Proceed.
