How to validate alarms from the Analysis menu

To validate alarms from the Analysis menu, go through the following steps:  


Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Analytics.   


Step 2: Choose the parameter(s) of the sensor(s) you want to validate. To do so, enter in the search bar the name of the sensor(s) or search for the sensor(s) in the organizational structure.


Step 3: Click on Analyse.


Step 4: If there are any alarms to validate the link "Validate alarms" will appear on the alarms section. Click Validate alarms.


Here you will have access to a list of alarms open from this sensor parameters, their current status (Open, Not acknowledged, Not resolved, Under analysis or Recovered), the value that generated the alarm, the date of occurrence and the date of the last action.


If you need a specific alarm, use the search bar to look for the table content.


Step 5: On this step you can either:

  • select on the checkboxes the alarms you wish to acknowledge (maximum of 50 alarms at the same time). You can select them one by one or using the select all checkbox on the table header.
  • select the individual alarm you wish to acknowledge by clicking on the graphic icon. This second option will open the individual alarm details. 


Step 6: Click the Solved or Under analysis button, depending on which is applicable.


Solved- In cases where the reason for the Alarm occurrence has been resolved and the Alarm has recovered.

Under analysisIn cases where the reason for the Alarm has not been resolved, you can "snooze" the alarm by putting it on hold for a while, during which time you will not receive any notification.
Note that Recovered alarms can not be placed Under analysis.


Step 7: Enter a comment or select predefined comment. 


Step 8: Click Validate.


If you want to know more information about the alarm(s), select Go to alarms section, you will go directly to the Alarms tab of the main menu, where you can see a range of information about the respective alarm(s).
