How to configure the escalation module

The escalation module allows you to schedule which users will receive notifications for a given sensor in a specific period of time.

To configure the escalation module, go through the following steps:

Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Users Management.

Step 2: Select the tab Calendar.

Step 3: Select the users who are responsible for the sensor you want to configure the escalation module.

Step 4: Enter the sensor name in the search bar or search for the sensor in the organizational structure.

Step 5: Click Filter.

You will be shown a calendar that can be viewed on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly.

Step 6: Click on + New schedule

Step 7: Enter the New schedule data. Namely the Time interval (Day and Time), Users and how you want this schedule to be automatically repeated (Never, Daily, Weekly or Monthly). Click Add schedule.

Only the users defined in this time interval will receive notifications. Outside of this time period, all users who were selected in Step 3 will again receive notifications.

If you wish to Delete or Edit the schedule, select the time interval set in the calendar and a summary table will appear with the settings previously made. If you wish to delete, click Delete and you will be presented with two options: "Delete just this shift" and "Delete all others shifts related to this one". Select the one that suits you and click Done. Otherwise, if you want to edit, select Edit Schedule, edit the field(s) of your choice and select Edit Schedule again.

The configurations that you make in the escalation module, have a duration of 1 year. Once this time limit has passed, you will have to make the settings again.
