How to activate the Auto Complete Time Spent feature

The Auto Complete Time Spent feature can be enabled for both Maintenance Sheets (Preventative Maintenance) and Work Orders (Corrective Maintenance).

To enable this feature for Maintenance Sheets, go through the following steps:

Step 1: On the main menu, on the left side, click Settings.

Step 2: Choose the Maintenance option.

Step 3: Select the Preventive tab.

Step 4: In the General section, click on the edit option.

Step 5: Select the mode you want to configure the Auto Complete Time Spent feature.

Disabled: Does not calculate the time spent (default).

Auto Complete - Editable: Calculates the time spent but allows all users to change it.

Auto Complete - Uneditable: Calculates the time spent, not allowing users with the Maintenance Technician role to change it. Only users with Maintenance Manager or Administrator permissions can edit the time spent.

Step 6: By activating this feature for the preventive maintenance tasks, the feature is also activated for the corrective maintenance ones. If you do not want this, deselect the option "Apply same settings".

Step 7: Click the Save option.

Example of the procedure:

You can activate this feature directly for Work Orders. For that, follow the steps above except for step 3, where you must select the Corrective tab.
