How to copy alarms configurations between sensors

It is possible to copy the alarm configurations from one sensor to others. However, there are some considerations, shown below, to take into account when carrying out this operation.

- It is only possible to copy alarm configurations on sensors that have the same parameters, regardless of whether they are active or not. To check the parameters of your sensors, go to the General tab of the Sensor View. In the list of sensors to copy alarm configurations to, only those sensors that meet this requirement will appear.

- When copying alarm configurations, pay attention to user permissions. If you copy configurations from one sensor in location A to another sensor in location B, only users with permissions to access location B will receive the alerts.

To copy alarms configurations between sensors, go through the following steps:

Step 1: Select the sensor you want to copy the alarm configurations to. You can select the sensor that has the desired alarm configurations or, alternatively, the sensor to which you want to copy the alarm configurations. There are three possible ways to select it:

1ª: Select, in the Sensors tab of your Dashboard, the desired sensor widget.

2ª: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Locations and Equipment. Select Locations and then find the desired sensor in your organizational structure.

3ª: In the main menu, on the left side, click Settings. Select Monitoring, then find and click on the required sensor.

Step 2:  A side window (Sensor View) will open. Select the Alarms tab.

Step 3: At the bottom of the sensor view are the Copy configurations to and Copy configurations from options. Select the appropriate option for the operation you want to perform, taking into account the selected sensor.

Step 4: If you selected the Copy configurations to  option, select the sensor(s) to which you want to copy the alarm settings you have configured in the sensor you currently have open. If you selected the Copy configurations from option, select the sensor from which you want to copy alarm settings.

Step 5: Click Copy.

Step 6: Click Confirm.
