How to create a new user

To create a new user, go through the following steps:


Step 1: In the main menu, on the left side, click on Users Management.


Step 2: Click on the New User button.


Step 3: Fill in the user's details.


The fields First Name, Last Name, Email, Language, Country and Time Zone are required.
The fields Phone Number and Cost per hour are optional, as well as the user's image.


Step 4: Click Next.


Step 5: Set the permissions for the new user. 


  • Select the area(s) of expertise to which the user will have access.
  • Select the role and location. Note: For the same user, the role is assigned by location. This means that the same user may have different roles for different locations.


NOTE:  If the user is a global administrator of the ViGIE portal, define it as Superuser. This way, this user will have access to all the information present in the platform.

 

Step 6: Click on Create User.


The new user created will receive an email with the credentials to access the ViGIE portal.



The creation of a new user can be performed by users with Administrator, Sensor Manager or Maintenance Manager profiles. 
However, if the new users are created by Sensor Managers or Maintenance Managers, they require the approval of an administrator profile.
